Context / Objectives

A Digital Marketing company in Madrid needs an interim CFO for 5 months

Mission

Our client needed an interim CFO to lead its financial, cash collection (critical), Treasury and legal teams ((16 FTEs).

Main responsibilities:

• Production and validation of all financial, Tax and accounting (incl. financial planning and cash flows)
  
• Supervision of legal department (GDPR, client contracts negotiation, third parties’ contracts and litigations management)
• Supervision of cash collection department and bad debt monitoring
• Coordination of client bidding processes
• Year-end closing / Income tax computation

Results

• Interim successfully completed (business financial planning and all reporting produced on time and accurately)
• Cash collection improved through improved commercial workflows and communication between commercial team and back office, and training of commercial teams led by cash collection and finance departments.
• Commercial and operational workflows and communication with back-office team streamlined to improve forecasting and business planning as well as response to clients' bidding process
